Welcome to the Crown Post Suite

As part of Number Ten Wine Bar

The Crown Post Suite at Number Ten Wine Bar and Kitchen (sleeps 2) is a mixture of everything you would expect from a beautifully restored period building, coupled with contemporary luxury. The suite comprises of living and sleeping accommodation over two stories. Whilst not offering full self catering facilities, the ground floor has an oak, hand crafted kitchenette, with a toaster, kettle, coffee machine and sink. In addition, we provide a welcome hamper with fresh local bread, juice, milk, cereal, butter and preserves. The sitting room area features a satellite television, Bluetooth speaker and has been tastefully decorated with subtle lighting and comfortable and stylish furniture. There is an elegant, hand carved spiral staircase leading up to the Crown Post bedroom. The bed chamber features a magnificent copper bath, king size oak sleigh bed and a walk in ensuite dressing room. In addition, the accommodation has a large private garden. This includes a large grassed area, surrounded by mature boarders. There is also a delightful patio area, with garden furniture, perfect for whiling away a sunny afternoon.

In line with government advice we are now completely closed. We are keen to be of assistance to the wonderful people of Lavenham and we are looking to resume our take away service in the next few weeks. However we feel it is a good idea for our team, friends, colleagues and families to heed advice and to be socially distant for at least two weeks.
May we take this opportunity to thank you all so much for your words of support. Rod and I are (relatively!) young fit and healthy and we are keen to do our part. So if any of you need any assistance in the coming weeks, please do leave a message and we will do all we can. We are all in this together and it is up to us to support each other.
We wish you all the very best for the coming weeks. Stay well and keep in touch.
Community has never been so essential – even if it is virtual.
Thank you for your patience, with best and warmest wishes, Jo, Rod and all of Team Ten
